Whats faster to max kurz or lux?
I'm gonna grind out one of these titles which one will be fastest?
I'll probably end up solo vanq for most of my points but im open to faster methods. |

I would say Luxon and I don't really have a reason for it.

Probably luxon because of the Deep speed clears and mount Qinkai vq.

If you are going to do it purely from Vanquishing, then Luxon is easier with Mount Qinkai. Not only because it gives the most points, but also because it is quick to do so you can fit it around RL much easier.
Normal Kurzick areas can often be taken over by Luxon which can cause problems. One major factor though...... You get double Faction Points if your Guild has an allience to that Faction |

I found Kurzick areas had more monsters in vanq's. (thats how I done it). Theres also DTSC's if you're into that kind of thing but tbh unless you're part of a dedicated group it takes longer to set up than it does to vanq.* Theres also Jade Quarry if you can tolerate caps lock and whining
*So many times I'd start a vanq. then finish and still see the same requests for SC group |

Can anyone confirm this? I personally do not remember seeing a large difference between my Luxon and Kurzick faction gains while vanquishing (I was in a Lux guild).

MQSC is actually very fun and very fast. And in between times, a Mount Qinkai VQ with H/H is very fast and easy. Also, the Unwaking Waters explorable area is a great VQ that gives about the same faction over time as MQVQ with H/H.
I had about 4 million Kurzick before I ever started Luxon. The Luxon afk farm (nerfed) got me about 3 million Luxon and then MQSC and H/H vanqs rocketed me to max. EDIT @ above: I have no idea what he's talking about. There are definite advantages to farming the faction that your guild is aligned to. For one, you can pick up the bounties from K/L Priests at the Res Shrine (perhaps this is what he meant) that will give faction for each kill in the area which can add up to quite significant amounts, especially with bosses. The second thing is that you can donate faction to your guild/alliance in 5k increments that give you double title points (10k for donating 5k). But no, being Kurzick or Luxon doesn't double your faction gains. It might open up more options to get faction, but it doesn't actually have any sort of multiplier. Common MQSC groups are found in German 1 of AG. This speed clear takes about 10mins on an average run and it takes 500 runs to max 10k per run~ = 20k to title 20k x 500 = 10,000,000.
10min x 500 = 5000 mins = 83 hours of runs? Then there is prep time and group time so looking at like 200+ hours to max if you are pugging. DTSC is very prone to failing :/ and most people don't even do it anymore since the 600 nerf. (pre nerf DtSC was faster than MQSC with a good team) DTSC now takes 20mins~ and pops 16k faction you can do the math yourself. MTSC I'm not 100% on however if i remember rightly it's not nearly as fast as 1k per min like MQSC is so based on Speedclearing VQ's it would be Luxon Assuming you are in [Shh] then Luxon is the fastest since you can do DeepSc in 8mins (oh and some frenchies helped out ) but Running with them just for fun i have clocked up over 1.5mil faction after maxing the title on Jadite alone. Deep Typically take 40mins to 1hour and same with Urgoz and yeild 5k -10k depending on NM/HM (unless in afore mentioned guild...) but forming for said runs = a lot of time so i advise against. |

@ above: The donating faction was the only thing I could think of. Thanks for your input.
@OP: I haven't timed it, but it seemed that the kurzick vanqs took a fair amount of time longer than most of the luxon vanqs and had roughly the same number of foes. So I would suggest the Luxon vanqs. |

What is meant is that when you donate 5k faction to your alliance your tite increases by 10k. If your guild is tied to the kurzicks you can't donate the faction to get the double points if you are trying for luxon.

I should have said double title points instead of faction. But since its title points your after... you will get there in half the time if your guild is aligned to the relevant faction. |

We're all saying the same thing, basically. If you're going for Kurzick, you should be in a Kurzick guild, and vice versa. For several reasons .

---- You also can also pick up all the Zaishen Bounties/Missions which give the faction on which you decide to work. I know that getting 2,500 for a mission or 500 faction points for a few minutes work on a bounty is very nice. |

Actually, if you had more Kurz than Lux Faction you can just bribe the priest with 50 gold and then you'll be able to use the shrine and get the blessing.

One more thing to add if you're vanquishing - regardless of which area you choose, there will be a few charmable animals wandering around. Killing them while vanquishing won't give you any xp, gold or faction, but they do add to the total number of foes vanquished for that area. So once you complete the area, you get 5xp, 5 gold and 50 faction for each one killed.
Depending on the size of the area you're in, there are usually 3+ around. Might seem like a small and insignificant bonus, but it adds up over hundreds of runs/vanq's, so it's worth it imo. (Plus they're very easy to kill. ) |

Correct. Killing them activates the Res Shrine but doesn't let you get the blessing.
Also, to OP, if you weren't aware, the types of Priests that tend the shrines can sometimes change based on the location of the Kurzick/Luxon line. Whatever faction the town you're leaving from is currently aligned to will be the type of Priest that tends the Res Shrine immediately outside. At least I think that's how it works. |
